Feral Cat Caretaker Registration

By submitting your information via the form linked below and agreeing to comply with Baltimore City's TNR law, you become a “registered caretaker” with Community Cats Maryland. While it's not required to be registered with us, the City of Baltimore strongly encourages it, and if there are ever any calls or complaints to Animal Control about your colony, being registered shows that you are informed about TNR and the city laws. (We also encourage people outside Baltimore City to register, so we can better track our efforts and know who is caring for cats and where.)

None of the information collected below is shared with any city agencies, except for raw numbers used for statistical purposes. Your name, contact information, and colony location are not shared with anyone associated with the city, although we may contact you occasionally with questions about your colony.

Click here to fill out the online caretaker registration form. Please encourage others in your neighborhood who care for cats to register also.

We also encourage feral cat caretakers to list their colony on the Baltimore Feral Cat Colony Mapping Project, a collaborative Google map listing known colonies in the greater Baltimore area. Participation is optional and you don't have to have the exact location of your colony shown, or your contact information. But knowing who is caring for cats and where is invaluable information for CCMD, especially when an ear-tipped cat is brought into Baltimore City Animal Control, who will contact us to see if we can reunite the cat with its colony.
